I made a design assignment for ds106 design assignments . my idea was to have an assignment where you make a desgn inspired by the best part of your day!

I found this picture and all I could think was “You got a pretty mouth” and please read that quote in the most redneck voice you can muster. that is how i imagin it! Redneck great whites exist!

This one definitally made me giggle! You will never guess what happens here! Ill give u a hint…. It happens in Alaska! If you havnt guessed yet, well im sorry! I made this in Picknick with a rectangle then I added stickers

One headlight by the wall flowers! what do u think??? 🙂 that song allways makes me smile! I rediscovered this song recently and have been jamming out to it! its such a 90’s song but a pretty good one ill say!

Captain Hook and Abe Lincoln? who knew, that explains alot. Hahahaha This one really made me giggle! Good thinking who ever came up with this assignment! Who knew President Lincoln knew captain hook! I used paint and Gimp to create this image. I started with gimp and cut out captain hook. Then I pasted captain hook into this vintage picture with President Lincoln. Next I changed the color so that the color tone matched throughout the picture. Finally I moved it to paint to save it and get it to Flickr. I haven’t figured out how to save pictures in Gimp.  I love this picture because nothing seems off at first! Captain hook blends right in. and then you notice it!

Valentines day is a day for everyone to feel young. The Song We are Young by Fun says it so well. unfortunatly my valentines day was not so great. I would like to think that next year my picture will apply! I designed this picture using picknik from flickr. I added lirycs to this picture that I fell in love with.

This is what I did for my design assignment expression of myself.

I love the mountains! I live to snowboard in the winter. In the summer I live to horsebackride, hike, backpack, and Kyake. The rode less traveled is well worth taking!  It’s an important part of me, its how I grew up! I love to stand at the top of a mountain and see everything around for miles! I used Picknik from Flickr to make this image,and paint. I put these 2 images together in paint. ThenI used Picknik and added the heart with a splash of color, words, black and white, and fadeed edges.
